Recently, I have been trying to engage myself in a new way to meet in the morning, and that is through the Responsive Classroom's Morning Meeting. Morning Meeting is a way to create and then maintain a sense of unity and community within the classroom and school as a whole. There are four main aspects to Morning Meeting: 1) Greeting, 2) Sharing, 3) Group Activity, and 4) Morning Message.
